HR Manager for Service Office at IKEA SEE

To reach our ambitious expansion goals we need to secure a strong and engaged regional Service Office team. Therefore we are currently looking for a new team member for our regional HR team that will together with us act as strong business partner to all Service Office functional teams in securing a diverse, successful and exciting working environment that will position IKEA regional office as employer of choice for high-potential, high-competent, value driven people that make things happen


In this position your task will include:

  • Establishing, leading and nurturing HR agenda within the reginal Service Office by taking the role of a strong, committed and trusted business partner to all Service Office co-workers
  • Working closely with SO functional managers and the regional HR team in:
    • attracting, recruiting and retaining talents
    • creating an SO framework for people to grow, through providing solutions to build relevant business competences and spotting and supporting talents to meet South East Europe cross-functional succession needs and beyond
  • Being an leadership ambassador; supporting, challenging and influencing all SO leaders to safeguard and promote the IKEA culture and develop the IKEA leadership approach
  • Building local business competence by setting and working on relevant goals through adapting Leadership & Competence Focus to SO reality
  • Being flexible and positive in facing the new challenges and the unknown, being curious and work across functions to create solutions and new ways of working in order to cater for the diverse needs of the unit
  • Together with HR Operations function support local staff cost budget which secures a diverse, lean and efficient organizational structure


Your knowledge, skills and experience include:

  • More than 3 years of experience in similar position in international retail environment
  • Good understanding of the business and background with customers in focus
  • A self-reliant and motivated decision-maker
  • Ability to influence and communicate confidently and clearly with high stakeholders both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to strike a balance between keeping a strategic overview and paying good attention to detail
  • Ability to ensure integrity of HR systems, guidelines and documents
  • Good analytical, numerical and cost awareness skills
  • Proven service mind-set
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
